Discrimination in the workplace is a sad reality. But thankfully, several federal statutes protect you. If you have been the victim of discrimination by either management or a coworker based on your race, color, sex (including sexual orientation or gender identity), age, disability, national origin, religion, or been the victim of retaliation, you can file a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. But you have to watch out – you only have 45 days from the date of the discrimination to contact your local EEO office. I can help walk you through the process, ensure the Agency conducts an adequate investigation into your claims and, if necessary, represent you before an EEO judge.
